The Capezio Dance Beat Smooth Tour is turning out to be as heated as this year’s US Presidential campaign. At every stop there have been major happenings and here at the City Lights Ball things was no different. To start, two of the leading couples with great possibilities of winning the tour and the purse Slawek Sochacki & Marzena Stachura and Mayo Alanen & Michelle Officer were not in attendance. Many at the event asked us why? We told them we knew and that we will soon tell, but that they had to see it in print.

Third place on this leg of the tour went to Vladimir Popov & Eulia Baranovsky who placed (4,4,5,5) in the group competition and were awarded for this effort 10 points. In the Showdance portion they were given 626 points bringing their total to a whamming 636 points. Kris Suakjian & Briana Haft placed fourth on the tour, their group competition scores were (6,6,6,6) earning them 4 points, they got 570 points for their solo, a total of 574 points overall.
